Age Defence SPF 50+ is a hydrator with the highest sun protection possible available in Australia. Broad-spectrum sun protection is the most important job that our favourite sunscreen performs and our secret weapons are UV-protective compounds Tinosorb S & M. They’re extremely sophisticated ingredients that work like a clever hybrid of both chemical and physical UV filters which enables them to successfully reflect, scatter, and absorb UV rays. They rarely cause irritation which makes this a great sunscreen for sensitive skins.
But Age Defence SPF 50+ does more than just shield your skin from the sun, it also protects against free-radical damage (another contributor to premature ageing FYI) with a strong support crew of antioxidants like Vitamin B3 that also help to prevent UV-triggered pigmentation.
KEY INGREDIENTS: UV-protective compounds Tinosorb S & M, and antioxidants including Vitamin B3
WHY WE LOVE IT:
It delivers the best 3-in-1 protection against dehydration, free-radical damage, and UVA/UVB rays
It’s been tested under the harsh Australian sun to provide the highest protection possible in this country: SPF50+
Clever photostable filters that work as a hybrid of chemical and physical sunscreens to offer superior protection without irritating or leaving an unflattering and obvious white filter over the skin
Not only is it a light, wearable moisturiser, it’s also a pre-foundation primer that hydrates and protects your skin and sits well under makeup
It’s suitable for sensitive skin and is an absolute essential after professional treatments like chemical peels and laser treatments when skin is likely to be more sensitive and needs maximum protection against UV rays.
HOW TO USE AGE DEFENCE SPF50+:
As the final step of your morning routine. Apply generously to your face, neck, and backs of your hands 15 to 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. We recommend gently patting into the skin, rather than rubbing, for a more matte finish. Reapply at regular intervals, especially after swimming, exercise or perspiration. **For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and wear protective clothing such as hats and eyewear when exposed to the sun. Do not use on broken, damaged or diseased skin.
